Cedar Creek's beautiful, resort-like residence offers many amenities, but at the same time provides a lovely home in each apartment. The ambience is reminiscent of an upscale retreat or spa, with gourmet meals, a full exercise and wellness center, plush furniture, thriving plants and flowers, and a bubbling tropical fish tank.

At Cedar Creek, we pamper every resident with warmth, comfort, love, and when wanted, a hug. Our 24 hour-a-day staff provides meals, activities, and appointment reminders, along with scheduled transportation for doctor visits, shopping and social events. The Resident Care Staff will provide medication assistance and supervision. Planned activities are plentiful, fun and entertaining.

We are located in the heart of Crystal River, just minutes away from many local attractions and activities (For maps and directions, click here). We are adjacent to a beautiful city park, and across the street from King's Bay, on the beautiful Crystal River, world renowned for the largest concentration of Manatees in the United States.

Accomodations

Cedar Creek offers many services included in the apartment rate. You will enjoy three delicious meals. Utilities included are water, sewer, electricity, basic cable, and telephone capabilities. Our 24 hour-a-day staff provides meals, activities, and appointment reminders, along with scheduled transportation for doctor visits, shopping, and social events. The Resident Care Staff will provide medication assistance and supervision. Planned activities are plentiful, fun and entertaining. Also included is weekly housekeeping and laundry. We provide every resident with warmth, comfort, care, and love.

There are 3 unique apartment plans available to meet the needs of all of our residents. Ranging in size from 435 to 572 square feet, these deluxe apartments are a terrific place to call home.

Don't forget that we encourage our residents to bring their own furniture and decorations to create a unique and comfortable living area that suits their individual needs. At Cedar Creek, we understand that independence, choices and comfortable surroundings are stepping stones to active and healthy lives.

Additional services are available to those who require special care. Each resident will receive an assessment on the individual care needed to make their stay at Cedar Creek enjoyable. The base fee, which is usually sufficient, includes many services. However, a resident may require a higher level of care that goes beyond the base fee.

At Cedar Creek, we also understand the importance of family and how important it is for couples to stay together. To help you keep your special bond, specially discounted Companion rates are available.

Amenities

Cozy sitting areas, including our second floor screened veranda, offer places where you can snuggle up with a book, relax and strike up a friendly conversation or sit back and watch your favorite television programs.

A fully stocked ice cream parlor is open 24 hours a day for those who need to satisfy their late night sweet tooth. It is also a great place to catch up with friends and talk about the day's activities.

An in-house beauty parlor is a terrific and easy way for our residents to keep themselves looking great for visits with family and days on the town. Just like any salon, we have a full-service facility that is available every week for the grooming needs of our residents.

A computer center with state-of-the-art machines and the latest software, including online access, is provided for our residents where they can use e-mail to keep in touch with family and friends, play games or just surf and read the news 24-hours-a-day.

We have a terrific sunny gaming area where our residents enjoy a large selection of board games and where Bridge and Gin matches are often being played. Our residents love this terrific social area and can always find someone ready to play a match.

Our restaurant-style dining room, complete with fine linens and comfortable chairs, is a great place to enjoy a meal from our diverse menu. Individual, as well as group workouts and activities, are available to all of our residents to help them stay in shape and to enable them to lead active and healthy lives. Our on-staff Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist is always happy to assist our residents with our athletic equipment and during exercise therapy.

Cedar Creek is proud to follow the Eden Alternative, a human-centered philosophy for assisted living where life revolves around close and continuing contact with nature, children and animals. In line with that philosophy, Cedar Creek offers Pet Assistance Services at a nominal monthly fee which provides help with the care of a resident's cat, small dog , bird, fish or other household animal.
